Disclaimer: This blog may contain potty words.

Dear Mr. Oil Company CEO,

I am writing to you today to tell you Mr. ? richest person in Texas, ? on Forbes richest Americans, that I HATE your fucking guts. You have officially turned my world upside down! Your cut backs can rot in hell and I think it is sad that you "let people go" just to put more money in your pocket. Never mind that Christmas is a month away. Never mind that my husband can't find another job making the money you paid him and with the same benefits. Never mind the fact that his job enabled me to stay at home with my baby. Never mind the fact that we are almost ready to start trying for another baby. You can take that extra ONE person salary your just saved yourself and shove it up your ASS! You think Homeland Security would have a problem with your selfishness and letting the pipeline terminals stay UNMANNED at night and on the weekends. Have you heard of terrorists? You know, the guys that try and kill us? The guys that could now just drive right in or climb a fence and blow up my town and no telling what else?

Thanks for your offer to relocate 5 HOURS away from all of our family. 5 HOURS away from the place we have lived our entire lives. 5 HOURS in the opposite direction of my sister. Thanks, thanks a lot. If we choose this relocation, you better not decide to relocate us again, or you might just meet me in person!

Mr. Duncan your are a selfish bastard and you, you can go eff yourself. I hope you have miserable life!

Sincerely,
One Pissed-off SAHM

*****On a side note, Carmon found out today that his job has been cut. There is no real reason other than the rich trying to get richer. His company is not struggling, making more money than ever. He may have until the end of the year, or he may get told Monday that that is his last day. I am freaking out, to say the least. Carmon is freaking out, to say the very least. This job was a once in a lifetime job, and he didn't do anything to get fired. It was just luck of the draw. Our relocation choices (that are halfway close) include La Fayette, IL or Indianapolis. Anyone know anything about either one? It is definitely a consideration, if only for a short time. I need a break from this one horse town.

Also, if you know of any job openings or babysitters that would be appreciated. We WILL make it, I have a very hardworking husband, that would sell his right arm if he had to. We just need a few prayers and a lot of support right now :)

*~*I have edited this post to have some anonymity to the company he works for. We don't want to ruin any chance of being rehired in the future :)

First Item for Sale

What would you pay for this? I was thinking $8 with the headband and $7 without. Be honest! I don't intend on charging this much for other bows, but this type is very time consuming, not to mention hard on my fingers :)

Unfortunately Camden was sleeping last night when I finished it so I didn't have a model. I need to adopt precious Miley to be my model. I don't want to give Cam a complex.

Name My Etsy Shop

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do it. Now I need a name. Name my Etsy shop, and you may just be rewarded :)

Today's Creation

Maybe if I get motivated enough, I can make something every day and post it!

Do you Swag?

I just wanted to share an amazingly free opportunity with you. I just redeemed some of my SwagBucks for $15 in Amazon.com gift cards. We are talking FREE money just for using their search engine. And 98% of the time it gives you the results you are looking for. Its simple, you sign up, download the toolbar, and type the what you want to search for in the box. If this sounds like something you may be interested in sign up here:

I was skeptical at first, but it is really simple and haven't found any gimmicks yet! I can't wait to go shopping on Amazon. Last year I got the majority of Cam's Christmas off there at huge discounts and even better it was delivered to my door!

My crafty creations

I am seriously contemplating taking a plunge. Of the creative nature. My grandma was one crafty woman and I would like to think I got it from her. I made Angela's wedding flowers. They turned out great. However, I don't know that this would be an all the time thing. I would love to do a couple wedding a year maybe...

Then I got my embroidery/sewing machine and decided to be creative. If I ever have a girl, I'm gonna be broke, but hopefully this will save me some dough. Here are a few things I've made so far:

I had also found a pattern to make a bow like this and immediately fell in love with it. I had some extra ribbon laying around and decided to try it out. Are these not the most adorable things ever? Oh. My. Gosh. Love them! I can't wait to go to Hobby Lobby to buy ribbon to make an even cuter one!So what do you guys think? Do you think I could make a go out of it? If so, I have an embroidery machine to sell and a house to clean spotless (so my husband will give me the $ to upgrade). I am excited and scared. Does anyone have any experience selling on Etsy or Ebay? Help!!!

Is anybody out there?

Wow! I cannot believe it has been 3 months since my last post. Crazy. First I went through this awful funk and didn't know what to write about. Then my computer was sent of to get fixed and two weeks turned into 4, and unfortunately our laptop is all we have.

Camden is almost 17 months and still the cutest thing ever. I am still staying at home right now, and hopefully that doesn't change. Carmon's job is in limbo. I would like to blame the economy, but unfortunately in this situation it is just greed and the rich trying to get richer. The oil industry is not losing any money, but sadly they are cutting jobs. Today was his first day of strictly days. Except its not strictly days, he has to go out at night still if they are getting a delivery (gas coming in through the pipeline to fill the big tanks). I have a feeling this may be hard on him because he will work 7-3:30 today and have to be back at 1 a.m. in the morning to cover a delivery. And he already has 9 hours overtime from the weekend. Just say a little prayer that he has job security and I can continue staying home with Camden, because quite frankly I can't imagine doing anything else. I love him so much!

I am, however, considering to start my own little side business doing crafty things. I got an embroidery machine for my birthday (I can't remember if I told you or not). I love doing crafty things and one of my best friends is expecting a girl in March. She needs all kinds of fun girly stuff, right? But this is another post...

I'm not going to catch up the past 3+ months in one blog so stay tuned!

I'll leave you a picture of my little giraffe. Isn't he the cutest?

Let's Eat Cake!

This cake was not perfect, but we ran out of time. I was impressed at how easily it came together. Jess and I were questioning ourselves again, by the time we were done. It was worth it though.

With the hand "balloon".
The hand that was too heavy for the cake.

The finished product.

Welcome to the world!

I am officially a Great-Aunt again. Dawson Evan was born Friday at 12:07 p.m. He was 20 inches long and weighed 7.11. It was scary to see him for the first time though because the doctor and nurse misunderstood each other and he sat waiting to come out for 45 minutes. Needless to say his poor little face was extremely bruised. It is clearing up well, but now he his very jaundice. I still haven't got to hold him because he is on his tanning blanket. I can't wait to get my hands on him. Pictures to follow, once his color is a little better!

This is me...blogging!

Sorry blog world. I. am. a. slacker. I never took my computer to get fixed. I just haven't been in a blogging mood. I don't know why. I just haven't felt like it.

In case your are one of the 2 people in the world who haven't seen this video, check it out. Awesome. Wish we would have done it at my wedding!

I'm coming back with some real stuff. Soon. Maybe even later today!

Remember this?

Remember this post? I did it! Its not exact. Stay tuned to see my pics, unless you have facebook, you can have a sneek peek!

Does anyone know anyone that makes cute cakes? I don't want the generic Wal-mart sheet cake. I don't know of any good bakeries/cake places in this area. I've had one lady do cakes for a couple occasions and wasn't satisfied. Camden told me that he wanted a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse birthday party. I KNOW its 5 months away but I want it to be special. Here is a pic of what I am wanting.

(Photo via www.myspace.com/happytiers)

The lady that made this one is actually in Cape but has taken some time off because she had a baby.

I am also looking for Jess because she is having a birthday party for Jase here at the end of the month.

Mister Adorable

Tonight Camden will be rocking this at the Summerfest. I entered him in the Little Mister Adorable contest. Of course we KNOW he will win. He only has to beat one other little boy!
I'll post actual pictures of him sometime soon.

Lost

I feel so lost right now. Sad. Crazy.

You would think I could find some happiness some where inside but I can't. Carmon is gone for what they are saying could be 6 weeks. There was a tragic accident at one of their Arkansas facilities and he has to go down there to help run crews.

Normally I would probably look at it as a vacation for cooking, less laundry, but not now. Cam will be turning one. We will be having his first birthday party. Cam will more than likely start walking. No telling what other new things he will do in 6 WEEKS! His mom let him take her laptop so I plan on e-mailing pics and videos as often as new things occur. I will also be going to work June 1 for a week, taking a week of for Cam's b-day, and then working another week. If he ends up having to stay for a long time and doesn't get to come home for the birthday party we will be making a trip to see Daddy. The only problem with that is he will be working 7 days a week, 14 hour shifts.

The only benefit...$$$, but I'm sure Uncle Sam will take more than his share!

Introducing...

Dawson (maybe) or Zander (maybe) or maybe Dawson Zander Brackett. He won't actually arrive until late July/early August, but he is so cute and I can't wait to meet him.

Thinking...

Leave me alone already...

So sweet...

I didn't have one of these done with Camden because it would have cost extra and he was expensive enough, but they are so freaking awesome!

Emergency...Not!

Remember the last post about my rotten boy? Well, yesterday he proved just how truly rotten really is.

He likes to play with phones, as most kids do. I always let him play with mine and he has called several people on various occasions. I decided I would lock it so that he couldn't call anyone(so I thought). I saw that it had made an "emergency call" as I was taking it away from him, but thought I had caught in it time and just hung up....Wrong. A few minutes later I get a call from the Sheriff's department wanting to know if everything was okay, they had just received a 911 call from my phone...

Earlier in the day he had been shoving Cheerios between his toes, then eating them. I have T-R-O-U-B-L-E on my hands!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

I would like to say that my first Mother's Day was the most fascinating day ever, but that would be a lie. Cam did stay asleep until 9 so that was nice. Carmon had to work, so it was just Cam and me until 6. Then I cooked supper. Then we went to Carmon's moms. Then I gave Camden his bath. Then I did the dishes. You think I could have had a little help since it was Mother's Day. Maybe his Father's Day gift will be a day of taking care of the house and Camden....that would be nice huh?

Don't get me wrong, I love my baby to death, but a little help would be nice every now and then!

However, I did get a Mother's ring. Carmon did try to get it on his own but couldn't remember which one I wanted and didn't know my ring size.

I hope you all had a nice relaxing day!

One year...

It is impossible that my baby boy will be one in a month and 4 days. So much change to come. Goodbye formula, hello money. Goodbye bottles, hello sippies. Goodbye to looking at the back of the seat, hello world!

I am ready for some advice. Any good car seats? I thought about the Graco 3-n-1 Nautilus. This seat has awesome reviews and is supposed to be the last seat I will ever need, as it converts to booster seats and holds up to 100 lbs.

But, I am also considering the cheap ol' Cosco seat. My main concern is Cam's safety, but I also want the price to be right.

Also, how did you break your baby from the bottle? Did you wean slowly, or just yank the bottle away never to be seen again? How old was you child when they finally had their very last bottle? Did you go straight to whole milk at 1 or did you use one of the next step formulas?

We are also fixing to try and get Cam into his own bed again. Carmon says he goes to his crib or me and Cam have to go sleep in the other room....Yikes! He is getting to be a wild sleeper and needs to be a big boy. I am so not ready for this.

Camden is still trying to learn how to walk. He doesn't take much interest, as crawling get him everywhere he needs to go. He is finally starting to stand a few seconds on his own, but still thinks its a game to stiffen up and fall towards Mom. He will learn in his own time!

What Color???

I need help...as if you didn't know that! This time you can actually help me though. I went and got new furniture, but before it arrives, I need to paint. Here is what I got:

Now I need to turn my drab white walls into fab, because with all the boring mochaness of the furniture and beige carpets I have to have some color. I also need throw pillows. If you know where to get cute, cheap pillows let me know. I'm thinking I will find them before picking out paint. If I can figure out that sewing machine I got from my grandma almost 2 and a half years ago, I might make my own.

Jess thinks I should go with orange, I was thinking a purplish gray, but I'm open to anything. Help!

Camdenisms

It would probably be easier to tell you what Camden isn't doing. Basically, he isn't walking.

Okay, Okay. My little prince started crawling (0n his hands and knees, finally), he is pulling up to everything, is into everything he isn't supposed to be, I know its only a matter of time until he takes off running. I. Am. Not. Ready. For. That...At. All!

He is such a smart boy (we all know he gets that from his momma!). He knows how to patty cake, he claps AND rolls it up. Occasionally he will even throw it in the pan. Genius I tell you. He can also say Mom, Dad, Dog, Car, and Uh-Oh. He used to say "atty cake" and bye-bye, but they have since left his vocab. Weird how that works, he learns a new word to forget and old one. He also plays peek-a-boo like a pro. It is amazing at how fast he learns new things. He also sings along when he hears music and will dance. Carmon and I were laughing, about to the point of crying, the first time we heard him singing. It was a day we actually happened to be together. He was so serious, I knew motherhood was gonna be fun, but never this much fun.
His true love (besides Mom) is being outside. He gets super fussy if we have to stay in the house all day. I love being at home with him, but I'm still not 100% sure if this is what I want.

He is also eating almost everything that Mom and Dad eat. He has 4, almost 5, teeth and looks like a vampire since he didn't get his top center teeth first. He loves cheese quesadillas from the Mexican restaurant, he can almost eat a whole one himself.

It brings a tear to my eye to think that my precious baby will be 1 year old in just 2 months. How has the time passed so quickly? I seriously cannot remember life before him, nor can I imagine, or do I want to, life without him.

Happy 10 month Birthday Angel!!!

I will leave you with a picture of the lil' man that takes my breath away on a daily basis.
Or two...

I am NOT Greedy!

I have seen this on a few other blogs and thought it would be fun.

I was NOT excited that Camden didn't sleep through the night Thursday.
I did NOT get on OldNavyWeekly to search for coupons.
I did NOT find the $45/$100 coupon on my own, only to find it was already gone :(
I did NOT go to hip2save to find out where the coupons were hidden.
I did NOT find the $25/$50 coupon this way. (Which is actually better than the $45/$100 if you think about it)
I did NOT call Jess at 3:30 AM to tell her the website was up.
I did NOT freak her out and make her think something terrible happened.
She was NOT excited.
I did NOT go back and send the coupon to 2 more email address, I would NEVER do that!
I did NOT call Jess back as soon as she fell asleep to tell her you could get them more than once.
I do NOT intend on spending all 3 of them on Cam, Carmon, and myself. I am NOT that selfish. (Actually I did use part of one of them on a birthday present for someone else.)
I also do NOT plan on staying up all night this Thursday to try and get the $75/$100 coupon, that would be foolish.

I do NOT hope you guys enjoyed this post. I was NOT the least bit excited about this find. I have NOT already went to Old Navy to use one. I am NOT worried that they will yell at me for having three. I will NOT tell them to get over it.

A Giveaway!!!

The poll on the right side of my page was not point-less. Thanks to all who voted. March 22nd marked my one-year blogiversary! Exciting I know. I can't believe it has been a year since I wrote my first blog. In honor of that and to thank all of you that have helped out my Relay for Life team, I will be giving you what YOU want.

I am giving away a $25 gift card to the restaurant of your choice. If you live outside my area, I will do my best to find a card to the restaurant you pick. If you live in my area, I would like to suggest you double your money by possible picking one of these restaurants (I just found this website recently, and thought I would share).

How do you enter, you ask?

  1. Leave a comment, telling me WHY you started your blog AND WHERE you would like your gift card to.
  2. If you have/will by a cookbook, leave me a comment.
  3. If you left an online donation, leave me a comment.
  4. If you will donate something to my yard sale, leave me a comment. We are changing the date to April 18.
  5. A new way to donate to my team is to purchase a luminaria in honor or memory of a loved one that has had cancer. I have the bags that you can decorate or I can simply write your loved one's name on it for you. They are $10 and all the money goes to the American Cancer Society. They have a special ceremony at the Relay where they light candles in the bags and read the names of all the people.

I will end this giveaway on Sunday, April 5th at 11:59 p.m. and draw on Monday. Good luck!

A Letter to Someone Who Obviously DOESN'T Know Better

Dear Ms. Hobby Lobby Cashier,

You obviously did not receive my last letter. If so, you wouldn't have let your stupidity triumph again today. I'm am even more appalled by your behavior today, than I was on that day back in September. Today, you passed me and my wonderful baby as you were coming from the restroom going back to your cash register. I hope that you washed your hands because you had them all over my baby. I know he's "pretty", as you told me, but he doesn't need to be caressed by strangers, that's what Mommy is for. I don't care if you play with him, I gave you permission to do so in my last letter. I know he loves the attention. You may not have kids or grand kids to play with. That's fine.

When it was time to check out, I purposely avoided your line. There are boundaries that you shouldn't cross. Unfortunately, you finished checking out your customer before my cashier got through with me.

What did you do? Came over to MY lane. Played with MY baby (that was fine). Then YOU KISSED MY baby. I don't know you!!! Keep your saliva off of MY baby. Am I out of line here? How would you feel if someone KISSED your baby? Someone you don't know. I don't even know your name. Its not like we even have a casual relationship. NO relationship at all. I am so tempted to call your manager and tell him to tell you to stop crossing the line with babies. You have done things like this TWICE to me. No telling how many other innocent babies you are passing your germs to. You must be stopped!

Sincerely,
Mrs. Fixing to be Psycho Mom

**Yes this REALLY happened today. I don't even know what to think. Seriously.

My Challenge for You!

It is that time of the year again and this year I really need your help. I am team captain of our Relay for Life team for the 3rd year in a row. We started doing Relay for Life right after Grandma lost her well-fought battle with cancer.

This year we are selling the cookbooks we made with her recipes in them again. We did this the first year and it was a great money maker. Hopefully we can get rid of them all again. There are 84 pages in the book, along with a helpful hints section. We are selling them for $10 and 6.50 from each book will go to the American Cancer Society.

We will also be having a yard sale to raise money for our team the first weekend in April.

Now to the point of this blog. I need all of you to help me. I challenge each person that reads my blog to either:

  • Donate money to my team. For every $10 you donate, I will donate $5.

  • Buy a cookbook, I will either deliver it or cover shipping charges.

  • Donate some old stuff you have laying around your house to our yard sale. What doesn't sale we donate to the Safe House for Women.

If you do any of the above leave me a comment here and I will enter you for a chance to win something (also to be determined). I will update this blog with my personal Relay link and the prize soon....Promise.

The Flea Market

A lot of you have wanted to know where the flea market to buy purses is at. Here is the info:

Frison Flea Market
7025 St. Charles Rock Rd.
St. Louis, MO

When I say this isn't a good neighborhood- I MEAN IT! It is definitely not a place I would take Camden. If you take your kids, take someone you can leave them in the car with. It is very intimidating, but well worth it.

And purse#2:

Jobless

I'm back. It's official. I am jobless again. No, I don't know what I am going to do. I'll probably go back to subbing if my sub certificate hasn't expired. I am also going to be on the look out for a real job. It wasn't as bad as I thought being away from Cam and the extra money helps out quite a bit. We are wanting to start building a new house, possibly this summer, so we need all the money we can get.

I'm sorry I have been such a slacker and I want to thank you all for sticking around. I need to get my creativeness together and I'll be blogging, hopefully daily-if Camden will allow.

Purse Post

I know, I know. It's a little late. Get over it!

Jess and I traveled to StL a few weeks ago to see Legally Blonde at the Fox. Since we were in the neighborhood, we decided to visit a flea market we had heard about. As we got closer to the ultimate destination we almost backed out of going. It was not a quiet StL subdivision, to say the least. The door were locked and we did NOT make eye contact with anyone.

It was worth it though. I got this Coach purse for $35. Yep $35. I am not a girly girl and I do not carry a purse on a daily basis, so I could not see paying much more than that. I also got another Coach purse. Maybe I'll post pics of it....someday.

Valentine's

Happy Belated Valentine's Day. I know it's late but what can I say. No real excuse. I'm busy being a mom and trying to get things caught up before I leave the temp job.

I hope that your Valentine's Day was as romantic as you wanted it to be. Unfortunately, I didn't marry a romantic person. I was browsing blogs and saw a cute tradition on several different ones. They would stay in and make a heart-shaped meatloaf and a heart shaped cake. I thought it was a great idea. I knew the restaurants would be packed this year with it being on a Saturday.

I went to Wally World and bought all my supplies and headed home to start baking. Carmon called and said his mom wanted us to come and eat at her house (ON Valentine's Day...EERRR) because she had went to get his uncle from the nursing home. I hesitated at first, but gave in because we hadn't seen him in a while.

I planned the meatloaf and cake for Sunday. Here is what we got:

The cake. Aren't my skills great?
I know, you can laugh.
Before baking:After:

All in all it all turned out good. To make the heart-shaped cake (because I KNOW you all will be making this your new tradition), you simply bake an 8" square cake and an 8" round cake, cut the circle in half, and place it next to the sides of the square one.....easy as, well, cake!
Haha.
I really do think this may become an every year tradition. I want traditions, things Cam can remember and carry on with his kids. As for going out, well we will be eating at the ever-so-scrumptious Shogun this weekend, without the 2 hour wait.

Happy Birthday Jase!!!

Today my baby nephew is 1. One. That is so hard to believe. I can't believe this time last year I cancelled my doctors appointment to find out if I was having a boy or girl to stay with my sister, the first-time nervous new mom. It has been a fun filled year, I just wish we could see each other more. He is getting so big. We had a party here for him over the weekend and Jess and I practiced our professional cake decorating skills. Here are some pics.

13. I had to go without power for 2 1/2 days last week. I thought I was going to die. I hate to see what its going to be like when we have a real disaster.

14. Jess and I are going to become professional cake decorators someday. We made Jase's first birthday cake over the weekend, and I think we may be reconsidering that.

15. I have trust issues. Majorly. I thank one specific person for not being in my life for that.

16. Carmon totalled my car out in the ice storm last week. I desperately need something of my own to drive again, but I have no idea what I want that to be.

17. My sister is my best friend. She needs to move home, although I don't know if we would be best friends if we lived in the same town.

18. Camden is my life. I can't imagine life before or without him. I can't wait to have more babies. I hope they are all perfect, just like him.

19. I've always wondered if your kids aren't cute, if you still think there cute. I know Camden is cute though so I don't have to worry about that :)

20. I don't have any birth marks. Neither does Camden. I don't think Carmon does either. Are we weird?

21. I don't like to clean. My house usually is a disaster. I need some one's OCD to rub off on me.

22. I smoke when I drink. The next day I wake up wondering what I was thinking because of the nasty taste in my mouth and the ick in my nose. Good thing I rarely drink.

23. Carmon and I started dating on March 15, 2000. We broke up a couple times but never for more than a month. That means we've been together for almost 9 years. Yikes!

24. I think we may actually get to start building a house this summer. I'm looking forward to it, but I'm also scared.

25. I have PCOS. Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome. It sucks, if you don't control it, it will make you fat, hairy, and unable to have kids.

I tag everyone who reads this. Do it!

More Winter

Groundhog's Day predicted more winter. I hope he is wrong. I do have power though. Thank God, and I feel so terrible for those of you that are still without. You can come to my house, all of you.

Does anyone have an extra bed? My power is out for probably 2 weeks. My Trail Blazer is totalled. What to do!?!

Couldn't be more right

I'm not big into horoscopes, but yesterday was a horrible day. Truth be told I usually don't ever read it. I'm not going into details, that would only cause more problems. I checked out today's horoscope and it was blah, so I decided to see what yesterday's had said. I should have read it sooner. Needless to say it couldn't have been more accurate!

Overview
When you can learn to be flexible with an obstinate person, you can learn to do just about anything! A touchy and stubborn person will cross your path today, and they will tell you that it's their way or the highway -- despite the fact that the ideas you have (that they don't want to hear) will make their life easier. Never mind -- laugh it off and do what they say. Go along to get along, and be amused by the fact that they are so short-sighted. Do not follow their example.

Haha. I don't know that I can go along to get along much longer though. I need prayers!

Fortunate

As I was clicking through blogs this morning I found Harper. If you go read it have a Kleenex. It will make you appreciate your healthy baby. Please pray for her and her family.

Breaking Up is Hard to Do!

Err...Where to start?

Yesterday I left work at like 4:57. I need to drop off some paper's at the boss's (my uncle's) house. No big deal. I left there at 5:05. I arrived at the babysitters at approximately 5:13. When I go inside Camden is sitting in the floor crying. Not a big deal.

Then the fun started. I can't remember that much from this point on. She tells me that she can't do after 5 o'clock and that she needed to leave 15 minutes ago to be somewhere. WTF!?! She also said that I told her I got off work at 4:30. Don't recall that. If I got off at 4:30 I would have been there at 4:35 EVERYDAY to pick him up. I'm the type of mom that wants to spend every second of every day with their child. I have been leaving work at 5 for the past 2 months to pick him up on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and now she decides she can't do after 5? I am speechless. I told her that I knew I had to have him picked up early on Thursdays when she kept him and that the 5 o'clock pick time had never been mentioned (nor a problem) for the prior 2 months. Not to mention the fact that when I picked him up on Tuesday the other kids she babysat were still there and that was at 5:15. As I was leaving she said see you tomorrow. I didn't say a word. (Those who know me well, know that it isn't easy for me to hide my anger.)

When I left I called my sister, and I was in tears. I feel like this babysitter has looked at Camden as a paycheck and has never really gotten that close to him. I had actually already been debating pulling him out of there as it was and this had pushed me over the edge. If I were to leave work 30 minutes early everyday that would take away enough money to pay for more than one day of babysitting.

When I had arrived home I had a message on my answering machine waiting. It was from the babysitter. She told me that she would watch Camden until the end of February to give me time to find a new babysitter and that she wasn't going to babysit on "tense" terms. If she continued to watch him I had to have him picked up by 5.

I made a few calls and found someone to watch Cam for me, so I called and left a message on her answering machine. I told her that I didn't need until the end of February, I had already found someone else and to let me know when I could come and get Camden's stuff. I still haven't heard anything.

Did I over react? It seems so hard to find babysitters that you genuinely like. I know Camden will be taken care of now, because a relative is watching him. The only downfall is that there are no other kids there, and he LOVES other kids. Last night was horrible. I cried, got a headache, and went to bed by 8:30. I just want him to be taken care of and loved. Perhaps I won't go back to work as planned when this temporary job is over.

Camdenisms

Hello all of my mommy's blog readers!

Mommy is really busy at work, so I decided I would help her out and let you guys know what I have been doing lately. I am sitting up like a pro. This means that Mommy is finally giving me something she calls puffs. They are like nothing I have ever had before. They are hard and I am having to learn how to chew them, its really weird. I make faces to let Mom and Dad know that I think they are weird too. I am learning to like them though. Mommy has learned not to give them to me if she wants me to eat any of my bottle or that squishy food either. I have also been giving Mommy a hard time in the morning when she is trying to feed me. She'll get food on the spoon and bring it towards my mouth, and then I'll shake my head no, or slap the spoon and get food all over me. Hey, I think its fun. What's a boy to do?

I did make Mommy really happy last week. I started saying "Mommommomma". You could tell she LOVED it. I think she may have even got a few tears in her eyes. I think Daddy might be a little jealous. He keeps saying Dadadadada. I like Mom though. She lets me sleep in her bed. Daddy has this crazy idea that I should go back to my own bed, but I just don't want to.

Last night, I must have been doing something really funny. Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma Kay were all laughing at me. I was laughing too. So hard that my whole belly was shaking while I was sitting up. My mommy was trying to get me with her "pigs". Any time I would try and grab them she would hurry up and pull them away. I thought it was so cool. I laughed my little butt off.

Okay, I think its time for a nap or food or something. Mommy will try to blog more soon. Our computer at home is broke. I think the cord went bad again.

Love,
Camden

P.S. If you come here, leave some comment love. Mommy really likes it when people let her know they read her blog. That little thing on the bottom right side has been showing some far away states and we don't know who it is.

Happy Happy Birthday Baby

A day late and a dollar short, that's me!

Camden is officially 7 months old, Miley is 6 months old, and Jase is 11 months old. If Camden and Miley weren't cousins I swear they would be boyfriend and girlfried. They LOVE each other.

I can't believe its only less than a month before my Jasey turns ONE!!!
