Disclaimer: This blog may contain potty words.

Dear Mr. Oil Company CEO,

I am writing to you today to tell you Mr. ? richest person in Texas, ? on Forbes richest Americans, that I HATE your fucking guts. You have officially turned my world upside down! Your cut backs can rot in hell and I think it is sad that you "let people go" just to put more money in your pocket. Never mind that Christmas is a month away. Never mind that my husband can't find another job making the money you paid him and with the same benefits. Never mind the fact that his job enabled me to stay at home with my baby. Never mind the fact that we are almost ready to start trying for another baby. You can take that extra ONE person salary your just saved yourself and shove it up your ASS! You think Homeland Security would have a problem with your selfishness and letting the pipeline terminals stay UNMANNED at night and on the weekends. Have you heard of terrorists? You know, the guys that try and kill us? The guys that could now just drive right in or climb a fence and blow up my town and no telling what else?

Thanks for your offer to relocate 5 HOURS away from all of our family. 5 HOURS away from the place we have lived our entire lives. 5 HOURS in the opposite direction of my sister. Thanks, thanks a lot. If we choose this relocation, you better not decide to relocate us again, or you might just meet me in person!

Mr. Duncan your are a selfish bastard and you, you can go eff yourself. I hope you have miserable life!

Sincerely,
One Pissed-off SAHM

*****On a side note, Carmon found out today that his job has been cut. There is no real reason other than the rich trying to get richer. His company is not struggling, making more money than ever. He may have until the end of the year, or he may get told Monday that that is his last day. I am freaking out, to say the least. Carmon is freaking out, to say the very least. This job was a once in a lifetime job, and he didn't do anything to get fired. It was just luck of the draw. Our relocation choices (that are halfway close) include La Fayette, IL or Indianapolis. Anyone know anything about either one? It is definitely a consideration, if only for a short time. I need a break from this one horse town.

Also, if you know of any job openings or babysitters that would be appreciated. We WILL make it, I have a very hardworking husband, that would sell his right arm if he had to. We just need a few prayers and a lot of support right now :)

*~*I have edited this post to have some anonymity to the company he works for. We don't want to ruin any chance of being rehired in the future :)

First Item for Sale

What would you pay for this? I was thinking $8 with the headband and $7 without. Be honest! I don't intend on charging this much for other bows, but this type is very time consuming, not to mention hard on my fingers :)

Unfortunately Camden was sleeping last night when I finished it so I didn't have a model. I need to adopt precious Miley to be my model. I don't want to give Cam a complex.

Name My Etsy Shop

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do it. Now I need a name. Name my Etsy shop, and you may just be rewarded :)

Today's Creation

Maybe if I get motivated enough, I can make something every day and post it!

Do you Swag?

I just wanted to share an amazingly free opportunity with you. I just redeemed some of my SwagBucks for $15 in Amazon.com gift cards. We are talking FREE money just for using their search engine. And 98% of the time it gives you the results you are looking for. Its simple, you sign up, download the toolbar, and type the what you want to search for in the box. If this sounds like something you may be interested in sign up here:

I was skeptical at first, but it is really simple and haven't found any gimmicks yet! I can't wait to go shopping on Amazon. Last year I got the majority of Cam's Christmas off there at huge discounts and even better it was delivered to my door!

My crafty creations

I am seriously contemplating taking a plunge. Of the creative nature. My grandma was one crafty woman and I would like to think I got it from her. I made Angela's wedding flowers. They turned out great. However, I don't know that this would be an all the time thing. I would love to do a couple wedding a year maybe...

Then I got my embroidery/sewing machine and decided to be creative. If I ever have a girl, I'm gonna be broke, but hopefully this will save me some dough. Here are a few things I've made so far:

I had also found a pattern to make a bow like this and immediately fell in love with it. I had some extra ribbon laying around and decided to try it out. Are these not the most adorable things ever? Oh. My. Gosh. Love them! I can't wait to go to Hobby Lobby to buy ribbon to make an even cuter one!So what do you guys think? Do you think I could make a go out of it? If so, I have an embroidery machine to sell and a house to clean spotless (so my husband will give me the $ to upgrade). I am excited and scared. Does anyone have any experience selling on Etsy or Ebay? Help!!!

Is anybody out there?

Wow! I cannot believe it has been 3 months since my last post. Crazy. First I went through this awful funk and didn't know what to write about. Then my computer was sent of to get fixed and two weeks turned into 4, and unfortunately our laptop is all we have.

Camden is almost 17 months and still the cutest thing ever. I am still staying at home right now, and hopefully that doesn't change. Carmon's job is in limbo. I would like to blame the economy, but unfortunately in this situation it is just greed and the rich trying to get richer. The oil industry is not losing any money, but sadly they are cutting jobs. Today was his first day of strictly days. Except its not strictly days, he has to go out at night still if they are getting a delivery (gas coming in through the pipeline to fill the big tanks). I have a feeling this may be hard on him because he will work 7-3:30 today and have to be back at 1 a.m. in the morning to cover a delivery. And he already has 9 hours overtime from the weekend. Just say a little prayer that he has job security and I can continue staying home with Camden, because quite frankly I can't imagine doing anything else. I love him so much!

I am, however, considering to start my own little side business doing crafty things. I got an embroidery machine for my birthday (I can't remember if I told you or not). I love doing crafty things and one of my best friends is expecting a girl in March. She needs all kinds of fun girly stuff, right? But this is another post...

I'm not going to catch up the past 3+ months in one blog so stay tuned!

I'll leave you a picture of my little giraffe. Isn't he the cutest?
