This cake was not perfect, but we ran out of time. I was impressed at how easily it came together. Jess and I were questioning ourselves again, by the time we were done. It was worth it though.

Welcome to the world!

I am officially a Great-Aunt again. Dawson Evan was born Friday at 12:07 p.m. He was 20 inches long and weighed 7.11. It was scary to see him for the first time though because the doctor and nurse misunderstood each other and he sat waiting to come out for 45 minutes. Needless to say his poor little face was extremely bruised. It is clearing up well, but now he his very jaundice. I still haven't got to hold him because he is on his tanning blanket. I can't wait to get my hands on him. Pictures to follow, once his color is a little better!

Sorry blog world. I. am. a. slacker. I never took my computer to get fixed. I just haven't been in a blogging mood. I don't know why. I just haven't felt like it.
