2 Weeks...Seriously
Does anyone have an extra bed? My power is out for probably 2 weeks. My Trail Blazer is totalled. What to do!?!

Couldn't be more right
I'm not big into horoscopes, but yesterday was a horrible day. Truth be told I usually don't ever read it. I'm not going into details, that would only cause more problems. I checked out today's horoscope and it was blah, so I decided to see what yesterday's had said. I should have read it sooner. Needless to say it couldn't have been more accurate!
Overview
When you can learn to be flexible with an obstinate person, you can learn to do just about anything! A touchy and stubborn person will cross your path today, and they will tell you that it's their way or the highway -- despite the fact that the ideas you have (that they don't want to hear) will make their life easier. Never mind -- laugh it off and do what they say. Go along to get along, and be amused by the fact that they are so short-sighted. Do not follow their example.
Haha. I don't know that I can go along to get along much longer though. I need prayers!

I think I can...
I think I can.
Today. Lunch. Hobby. Lobby. Icing. Bag. Tip.
I am going to attempt the unattemptable. I am going to try to make that birthday cake down below. We shall start with the grass. If it is obtainable I think I can handle the cake.
Stay tuned!

Breaking Up is Hard to Do!
Err...Where to start?
Yesterday I left work at like 4:57. I need to drop off some paper's at the boss's (my uncle's) house. No big deal. I left there at 5:05. I arrived at the babysitters at approximately 5:13. When I go inside Camden is sitting in the floor crying. Not a big deal.
Then the fun started. I can't remember that much from this point on. She tells me that she can't do after 5 o'clock and that she needed to leave 15 minutes ago to be somewhere. WTF!?! She also said that I told her I got off work at 4:30. Don't recall that. If I got off at 4:30 I would have been there at 4:35 EVERYDAY to pick him up. I'm the type of mom that wants to spend every second of every day with their child. I have been leaving work at 5 for the past 2 months to pick him up on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and now she decides she can't do after 5? I am speechless. I told her that I knew I had to have him picked up early on Thursdays when she kept him and that the 5 o'clock pick time had never been mentioned (nor a problem) for the prior 2 months. Not to mention the fact that when I picked him up on Tuesday the other kids she babysat were still there and that was at 5:15. As I was leaving she said see you tomorrow. I didn't say a word. (Those who know me well, know that it isn't easy for me to hide my anger.)
When I left I called my sister, and I was in tears. I feel like this babysitter has looked at Camden as a paycheck and has never really gotten that close to him. I had actually already been debating pulling him out of there as it was and this had pushed me over the edge. If I were to leave work 30 minutes early everyday that would take away enough money to pay for more than one day of babysitting.
When I had arrived home I had a message on my answering machine waiting. It was from the babysitter. She told me that she would watch Camden until the end of February to give me time to find a new babysitter and that she wasn't going to babysit on "tense" terms. If she continued to watch him I had to have him picked up by 5.
I made a few calls and found someone to watch Cam for me, so I called and left a message on her answering machine. I told her that I didn't need until the end of February, I had already found someone else and to let me know when I could come and get Camden's stuff. I still haven't heard anything.
Did I over react? It seems so hard to find babysitters that you genuinely like. I know Camden will be taken care of now, because a relative is watching him. The only downfall is that there are no other kids there, and he LOVES other kids. Last night was horrible. I cried, got a headache, and went to bed by 8:30. I just want him to be taken care of and loved. Perhaps I won't go back to work as planned when this temporary job is over.

Camdenisms
Hello all of my mommy's blog readers!
Mommy is really busy at work, so I decided I would help her out and let you guys know what I have been doing lately. I am sitting up like a pro. This means that Mommy is finally giving me something she calls puffs. They are like nothing I have ever had before. They are hard and I am having to learn how to chew them, its really weird. I make faces to let Mom and Dad know that I think they are weird too. I am learning to like them though. Mommy has learned not to give them to me if she wants me to eat any of my bottle or that squishy food either. I have also been giving Mommy a hard time in the morning when she is trying to feed me. She'll get food on the spoon and bring it towards my mouth, and then I'll shake my head no, or slap the spoon and get food all over me. Hey, I think its fun. What's a boy to do?
I did make Mommy really happy last week. I started saying "Mommommomma". You could tell she LOVED it. I think she may have even got a few tears in her eyes. I think Daddy might be a little jealous. He keeps saying Dadadadada. I like Mom though. She lets me sleep in her bed. Daddy has this crazy idea that I should go back to my own bed, but I just don't want to.
Last night, I must have been doing something really funny. Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma Kay were all laughing at me. I was laughing too. So hard that my whole belly was shaking while I was sitting up. My mommy was trying to get me with her "pigs". Any time I would try and grab them she would hurry up and pull them away. I thought it was so cool. I laughed my little butt off.
Okay, I think its time for a nap or food or something. Mommy will try to blog more soon. Our computer at home is broke. I think the cord went bad again.
Love,
Camden
P.S. If you come here, leave some comment love. Mommy really likes it when people let her know they read her blog. That little thing on the bottom right side has been showing some far away states and we don't know who it is.

Happy Happy Birthday Baby
A day late and a dollar short, that's me!
Camden is officially 7 months old, Miley is 6 months old, and Jase is 11 months old. If Camden and Miley weren't cousins I swear they would be boyfriend and girlfried. They LOVE each other.
I can't believe its only less than a month before my Jasey turns ONE!!!
Helpless
I've not been around here for a while because Camden has been sick and I have been busy trying to play catch up at work.
We went STL for Grandpa's services, the funeral was on New Year's Eve so naturally no one was in the mood for much celebrating. We took Rock Band over to Tim & Sally's and had a little fun. On New Year's Day Camden woke up running a fever. It kept on and kept on. Friday-fever. Saturday-fever. I decided to take him to the C.O.P.S. clinic that my doctor's office runs on weekends to get him checked out. They decided it was just a viral thing. We went home and Camden was okay. The fevers continued. On Sunday, Carmon stayed home with us and I tried to get caught up on housework. Camden got abnormally fussy and was still running fever. I decided that I wasn't happy with the answer we got on Saturday, so back to the hospital we went.
The next two hours were horrible. My poor baby was put through so many tests and poked and prodded. He cried. I cried. It was AWFUL to say the least. The dr. Saturday said if he wasn't better by Monday they would do a chest x-ray and blood work. I told the ER that so they went ahead and proceeded with those tests. Taking blood from a 6 month old is not exactly the easiest thing. Luckily, they found a good vein. They left the IV they used to get the blood in, in case they needed it for anything else. This meant that his arm had to be immobilized by being taped to a board. As if that wasn't enough he then had to go to x-ray. If you haven't ever seen how they x-ray a baby you need to. Camden had to sit on a little table type contraption with a hole cut out in the middle and a little seat sticking through the hole. Then they took a hard plastic tube and put around him with his arms sticking straight up in the air. Carmon and I had to leave the room while they did the x-ray and you could hear him screaming. I was a mess. I felt so bad. I started crying. Its truly the hardest thing in the world when your baby hurts and you don't know what to do to fix it.
All of the test came back normal (Thank God), but it still left us hanging. On part of the CBC was elevated though, so they did think he has some kind of viral infection. While the ER dr. was checking his ears she couldn't see in his right one very well. She talked to the dr. that saw him on Sat. and she informed her that she never got a good look in there because of all the wax built up. WONDERFUL. My baby was back at the hospital for something that more than likely could have been fixed the day before. Needless to say I wasn't very happy (and neither is my checkbook). Why didn't they irrigate his ear on Saturday? She put some stuff in his ear to loosen up the wax and then 10 minutes later came back and irrigated it. Chunks of was started coming out. I felt so bad. I should mention that he has his father's wax infested ears....disgusting. After she got to see in there she said it was irritated and thought it was the start of an ear infection. We left with a script for amoxicillin and some ear drops to keep him from getting swimmers ear from the water she had to squirt in.
Monday the fevers were gone. But by Tuesday night he decided he wanted to stop peeing like normal. He held his pee for over 12 hours on Tuesday night. I called the dr. on Wednesday and explained to them what was going on *think paranoid mom*. They said just to watch him. He went almost 8 hours Wednesday night without peeing. During the day he was fine. Thursday evening he barely peed at all and didn't be much that night. Friday I decided we should go to the dr.
We went and he assured me there is nothing wrong with his kidneys and he thought it was just because he is getting bigger and could hold it longer. He checked him over and didn't like what he saw in his ear. It was still pussey and draining. If its still draining Monday we have to go back to get a different antibiotic. As I was getting Cam dressed he opened his mouth again and I saw white spots...again. Great. I called the dr. back in and sure enough its thrush.
Needless to say I'm ready for my happy healthy baby back. What a way to start the new year!
