Preg update!

Today I got up and had to go have my blood drawn for my Rh stuff. Since I have O- blood I have to have the Rhogam shot so that everything will be okay with this baby and my future babies. Then I had to go to the hospital this afternoon and get the shot. Thank God I finally got a good girl at the drs. office and she drew my blood with out digging and bruising me. I have the worst veins ever. I think I'm almost done with all of the blood work for the pregnancy.

I am just past the 28 week mark, its getting scarily close to baby time and still nothing ready at home. Carmon is out of town this week, doing classes in St.L for work. I think this is the longest I have been home w/o him :( He's living it up staying at Westport, thanks to EPCO (his work). I guess at least someone is getting a "babymoon". I think he has been out and gotten drunk every night this week. For those of you who know him, this is very unusual and I'm glad he is finally getting a break. All he does is work when he is home.

As for me, I think I am getting fatter by the day! I'm also looking forward to getting out Saturday for Cort's wedding reception and seeing people I haven't seen in awhile. If anyone needs a DD I'll be there!

Relay for Life fundraiser

We are selling Home Interior candles, fragrance charms, lotions & shower gels, and room fresheners as a fundraiser for our relay team.

The small jars(7.5 oz.) are $7 and come in the following scents: Baked Apple Pie, Hawaiian Delight, Raisin Bread, Chocolate Iced Cookies, Apple Nut Muffin, Spiced Orange, Pink Grapefruit, Juicy Watermelon, Berry Orchard, and Banana Cream Pie.

The large jars(12.5 oz) are $12 and come in the following scents: Baked Apple Pie, Delicate Breeze, Moonlight Tuberose, Fresh Cotton, Cranberry Orange, Lilac Bouquet, Mandarin Orange, Sweet Vanilla, Honeydew, and Pineapple & Mango.

The Charms come in sets of 2 and are $10. The scents are Baked Apple Pie, Sweet Vanilla, Fresh Gardenia, and Island Pineapple.

The Lotions & Shower Gel are $9 for a lotion OR gel and are 8.5 oz. The scents are Sugared Citrus, Almond, and Lavender.

Finally, the Room Fresheners come in 5-packs and are $10. They are available in Linen Fresh, Mango Cooler, Green Apple, and Jasmine Vanilla.

If you are interested in purchasing anything let me know, I have to have the $$ before we order. We are submitting the order on April 3rd. This is a good deal for us because we receive 50% of everything we sell.

Baby Jacks

So as most of you know I am expecting my first baby June 16th. Right now I am going through a whirl-wind of emotions. I am so excited for the new journey, but I am also stressed, scared, nervous, anxious, and experiencing every other emotion you can imagine in some form or another.

I'm stressed because I have so much other stuff going on other than just preparing for him. Starting next weekend, I am not going to have a free weekend until the end of May. I don't know when I am going to get the nursery ready. I may have to have a party and have everyone else come and do it for me :) I know what I am going to do it in and I have my bedding, so thats a plus. I have Cortney's wedding reception next weekend, the next weekend I'll either be spending in Memphis for Angela's bachelorette party or at another wedding reception, the next weekend Carmon and I have birthing class, the next weekend is one of my showers, and then the next weekend is Angela's wedding. AAAAHhhhhhhhhh!!! Then after that I have to turn my focus to Relay for Life because I am our team captain again and find time for another shower. Luckily this year I have a little more help with my handy co-captain Tyler. The Relay is May 17th and we are just now starting our fundraising efforts. I'll be a fun 36 weeks pregnant out there walking for a cure! Hopefully it doesn't throw me into labor. :S

I also have the so important job of naming the little prince inside, and I want to decide on a name soon, so I can have all the fun personalized stuff. I feel bad now because I was always on my sister to name her precious prince, but I didn't realize how agonizing of a job it was. This is a CRUCIAL decision, I mean he is gonna have this name for the REST of his life. If you have any ideas feel free to share. I'll consider anything, but don't get offended if I turn it down, because that is a huge possibility.
